Green Goal for Office Depot
Look for Office Depot to go green in the coming months. The company plans to partner with the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for Commercial Interiors (CI) to receive certification in meeting all green interiors standards for new stores built.

LEED CI is the official name of the environmentally sound certificate. This new 2010 project will apply to all new Office Depot construction. A total of 14 offices are projected to be built this year.

The LEED CI store features will include skylights, a reflective roof, and an interior customer friendly recycling center. It's a put your money where your mouth is philosophy. Office Depot wants a united green front all the way around.
